Position Type: Permanent, full-time (40hrs/week)

Position Summary

This position is responsible to lead, develop and mobilize Beulah’s neighbouring and evangelism initiatives, systems, and events.

Role responsibilities:

Neighbouring & Evangelism Mobilization

• Develop and deploy systems and structures to advance neighbouring and evangelism.
• Develop and direct evangelism and outreach activities, overseeing initiatives, training, and events.
• Oversee initiatives that move people toward exploring faith and making a decision of faith.
• Equip and empower people to live neighbouring where they live, work, study, and play.
• Recruit, develop, and empower leaders and teams in ministry area.
• Serve as the liaison between internal teams and volunteer teams.
• Work towards a volunteer led and ministry supported model.
• Collaborate with campuses to communicate neighbouring and evangelism strategies to the congregation.
• Work with city-wide outreach efforts that align with Beulah’s evangelism strategies, in collaboration with Community Impact initiatives.
• Resource and support Beulah campuses on neighbouring and evangelism.

General Pastoral Duties

• Equip, train, and provide spiritual direction for volunteers within ministry area.
• Provide POD (Pastor of the Day) support, including pastoral care, spiritual direction, and assessing immediate needs.
• Minister to the congregation by performing weddings, baptisms, funerals, and administering sacraments as necessary.

• Experience in establishing evangelism programs and leading people to Christ.
• Understanding of emerging evangelistic methods in a post-Christian Canadian context.
• Able to work in a large, multi-staff setting with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement projects.
• Primary spiritual gifts: Evangelism, Leadership.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in ministry.
• Diploma (2 years min) from a credible Biblical Institution with an emphasis in Theology, Biblical Studies, Missiology, or Christian Ministry, and a heart for ministry.
• Eligible for accreditation with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination in Canada.
• Aligned with The Alliance Canada’s statement of faith and Call to Excellence.
• Engage with an Alliance Church regularly.
