Kelowna Christian Center church (KCC) and Heritage Christian Online School (HCOS), including Flex Academy, are the ministries of Kelowna Christian Center Society (KCCS). KCCS was established in 1982 with a vision for the community and global influence. HCOS has an opening for a Capital Campaign Project Manager. This is a part-time contract position of 20 to 25 hours per week starting February 1, 2025 working either remotely or on-site for a campaign timeline of 18 to 24 months. This position is a pivotal role responsible for coordinating all aspects of the campaign’s success. Acting as the central hub between key stakeholders, this individual will oversee project timelines, ensure effective communication, and ensure the campaign stays on time and progresses as per the Campaign Plan. The role demands strong project management skills, fundraising expertise, and the ability to build relationships across a wide range of constituents.
As the Capital Campaign Project Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:
Campaign Leadership and Coordination:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the COO, Head of Schools, Board Chair, and Campaign Counsel.
- Support the Campaign Cabinet and manage volunteer efforts to ensure alignment with campaign goals.
- Collaborate with the construction manager and leadership teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Facilitate regular updates and ensure clear communication across all stakeholder groups.
Fundraising & Fundraising Support:
- Track and drive the implementation of fundraising mandates, including solicitation strategies, donor recognition, and stewardship plans.
- Coordinate donor cultivation and solicitation meetings alongside campaign leadership.
- Oversee the preparation of campaign materials, presentations, and reports.
Project Management:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive campaign timeline, including key deliverables and milestones.
- Monitor progress against campaign benchmarks and address challenges proactively.
- Organize and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, providing agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Ensure compliance with campaign protocols, financial tracking, and reporting.
Volunteer and Donor Engagement:
- Assist Campaign Counsel in recruiting, training and motivating campaign volunteers, ensuring they are well-equipped to achieve their goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors and key stakeholders.

- Demonstrated experience coordinating diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction timelines and processes is an asset.
- Proficiency in fundraising software and tools (e.g., CRM systems).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
